Approximately 100 people including students, staff, parents and community members, they were excited to be escorted to school on this day by police on horses and police cars.
This annual campaign encourages all primary school children, their parents, and their carers to walk safely and regularly to school. The event promotes road safety, health, public transport and the environment.
Encouraging kids to be active each day establishes good habits that can stay with them throughout their lives.
Every student who walked to school on the day received a temporary tattoo promoting the Walk Safely to School logo.
High Wycombe Primary School is a Mentally Healthy School and aims to promote the Act, Belong, Commit Campaign.
